FAQ

1. What is virgin hair? A. VIRGIN hair is hair that has not been dyed,bleached,permed,straightened or chemically treated in anyway.Virgin hair still has the cuticle(outermost layer of the hair shaft) which gives the hair its strength to last.

2. How much hair do I need for a installation? A. For a full installation the average person requires about 2 bundles, 1 bundle is typically used for a partial installation and will not have the same fullness. If the hair is longer than 18 inches between 3 and 4 bundles is suggested depending on your desired look. 

3. What is your return policy? We have moved to a no refund and limited exchange policy due to Covid-19. You may receive an EXCHANGE ONLY if product is returned in the original state it was received (packaging,untreated,washed,worn,cut,combed) All items meeting these requirements may be returned for exchange within 5 days of the receipt. We do NOT exchange special order items or items that have received a color service. NO EXCEPTIONS. We have no expressed on implied warranties. Each bundle is collected from different donors there are cases when there are variations or curl and wave patterns. We can't provide replacement hair for various issues once the hair has been worn. To reduce the chances of any issues please purchase Lavish or Luxurious collections as they are the best available hair.

4. Can this hair be colored? A. Yes the hair is unprocessed so you can bleach and or color the hair. However We suggest you seek a professional stylist to assist you in this process.


5. How do i take care/ maintain this hair?
A. This hair should be maintained the same way you would hair that grows out your own natural scalp. We suggest not sleep on damp hair , brush before a shampoo, and always sleep with either a satin or silk bonnet/scarf or on a satin/silk pillow case. They are truly worth an investment.


6. How long will hair last?
A.With proper care and maintenance this hair can last one year or more (depending on collection). Each bundle of hair is selected with extreme care and strict standards. Please understand that NO two bundles are the same. When placing your order, take into consideration some origins and or styles require more maintenance to achieve your desired look.

7. What is your policy on special order items? A. These items are nonrefundable and no exchanges will be allowed. Special orders take 7-10 days for production. This includes 26" wefts and above, Special curls and ALL closure and wig pieces. Once the items are produced they will be shipped via USPS which takes 3 to 5 business days for delivery.

8. How long will it take for me to receive my order? A. All orders will ship after Paypal/Swipe and Lacy's processing has completed. This can take UP TO ten business days. Please note we DO NOT ship items the same day they are ordered. This is done not only to protect you but the company as well. When speaking of processing and shipping we are referring to business days only, Holidays and Weekends are excluded. Please review our shipping information tab for more details.

9. Restocking policy If you neglect to sign/pick up your purchase once it has been shipped you will be charged the shipping fee as well as $30.00 as a restocking fee. If you decide after your order has been shipped that you would like to change your origin or style you will be responsible for all sipping fees as well as become subject to a $20.00 restocking fee.

10.  Pay later options. AfterPay, Klarna and Affirm are not associated with Lacy’s Locs. We do not control their approval or denial process.
